5 Tips to Start Your Day Right
If you’re anything like me, it can be tough to be motivated in the mornings. This can be especially true if you work from home so it is important to have a few habits and tricks to get the wheels turning.
1. Give yourself time to wake up
2. Do something you enjoy before starting work
3. Go for a walk or jog
4. Drink a whole glass of water
5. Have a set time to begin work
In my opinion, there is nothing more stressful than waking up, grabbing a cup of coffee, and checking my work email. More often than not, there are at least ten emails to sort through and it immediately sets my mind to working before I have even woken up! Having a set time, before which you do not check email or start work, allows you to mentally prepare for work before just jumping in.
Try implementing these five tips in your morning routine and see what a difference it makes! The weight of running a business can weigh heavily on one’s mind and body so make sure you take the time to care for yourself so that you can give your best to your business.
